Huntington Brass Faucet Reviews 2022: Why buy this product?

Design and Construction

The number one reason that makes one faucet stand out over the other is the way it looks, and apart from the finish (more on that later), the design plays an instrumental role.

Starting with the spout itself, it does not sport any levers on itself. Instead, it’s simply an arc-shaped sprayer that is incredibly minimalistic in nature and looks very elegant. Relief to the clean lines of the spout is provided by the brass-pop up, which engages the hand-shower.

Apart from the spout, the faucet features two levers for operation on either side of the spout. The base of the levers is bulbous and lends a sturdy look to them. The levers themselves feature a single-spoke design which looks very minimalistic.

The Huntington is made out of solid brass, which is a premium material as it does not rust and contaminate the water by mixing with it.

Lastly, the faucet also features a portable hand-shower (operated by the aforementioned brass pop-up) which looks very futuristic and complements the Huntington perfectly.

Features

Nowadays, the worth of a product is measured more by the attachments it carries rather than the inherent functionality and quality of the product. Whether this trend is desirable or not, we’re no adjudicators of that, but we are adjudicators of whether the Huntington keeps up with it.

Firstly, the Huntington faucet features ceramic disc cartridges which are of high quality and lend durability to the product. These cartridges are expected to last a lifetime as, by virtue of the design and the inherent properties of the material, a long-lasting watertight seal is created.

Secondly, it features a hand shower which is a giant hose that can be extracted and extended from its resting position. In fact, it can be extended to 59 inches! As if that wasn’t enough, the hand shower also features an incredible flow rate of 10 GPM.

Finish

Being a tub faucet, the Huntington knows it has the ability to make or break the aesthetic of a bathroom, but if it ends up doing the latter, it won’t be because of the finish.

The Huntington is available in only one finish i.e. Chrome, and it looks absolutely beautiful. It would look right at home in a bathroom with, say, a frost or ceramic white tub and slightly understated flooring and tiles, as the Huntington provides perfect relief from the monotony of faded colors.

Moreover, we tested our unit by subjecting it to some abuse, and we’re glad to say that the finish held its own and is properly glued-on.

What could’ve been better?

Yes, we just waxed poetic about the finish, so what gives? Well, our complaint isn’t with the finish itself; that’s great. Our complaint is with the lack of choice the consumer is offered.

A single Chrome finish severely limits the applications for the Huntington faucet and also restricts its consumer base, and it just hurts itself more than the consumers at the end of the day. Hopefully, we’ll see the addition of finishes in the near future.

While we’re fans of the single-spoke lever design, not everyone was, and understandably so. It is a controversial design, with some falling in love with it right away while some are loathing it, even going to the extent of calling it “cheap”.

Verdict

The Huntington faucet is a breath of fresh air in a sea of drab and clichéd faucets, not to mention the fact that it doesn’t try to actively scam you as it offers brilliant value-for-money. We highly recommend this faucet as it will make bathing an absolutely delightful experience.
